Doris J. Colledge, 82, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2013. She was born on August 9, 1930 to the late Anna and T.L. Shamblin in Charleston, West Virginia.
Doris enjoyed making quilts and giving them to her family and friends. She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Doris liked trips to the casino with her daughters. She also enjoyed shopping at flea-markets and doing scratch-off lottery tickets.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; son, Denzel; brothers, Ray Shamblin and Paul Shamblin; sister, Madeline Jimenez. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Linda (Buster) Case, Donna Johnston and Barbara (Chris) Vance; brother, Orville (Frances) Cobb; grandchildren, Jim (Anne), Crystal (Matt), Angie (Jeremy), David (Raquel), John (Andrea), Julie and Michael (Kim) and 18 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank ProMedica Ebeid Hospice for their care and compassion.
