Donald W. Wise

Donald W. Wise, age 92, of Sylvania, OH passed away November 30, 2022 at his home. He was born January 14, 1930 in Maumee, OH to Sylvester and Bertha (Smith) Wise. Don proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an accomplished artist who enjoyed painting outdoor scenes. Don was an avid golf spectator and enjoyed fishing throughout his life. One of the greatest joys of Don's life was buying his lottery tickets!

In addition to his parents, Don was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Naomi Wise; brothers, James, Phillip and Robert Wise; granddaughter, Torry Bradner and grandson, Derek Doney. He is survived by his daughters, Cindy (David) Doney and Terry (Thomas) Bradner; grandchildren, Tiffany (Taylor), Ashley (Luka), Tj (Stephanie), Nicholle (Brian), Allyson (Kirk) and Tyler; 9 great-grandchildren and sister, Carol Schlachter.

The family will receive guests, Monday December 5, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial service at 4:30 p.m. at Newcomer WS Chapel, 3655 King Road, Toledo, (419-392-9500).

The family would like to thank Mystel, Chaplain Julie and the many aides from Hospice of Northwest Ohio, additionally Leanna DeGroff from the Guardian Angels for their loving care of Don.
