With great sadness, we announce the passing of Donald Russell Riley, who departed life peacefully on May 5, 2025, at 92. Don was born in Toledo, Ohio, and attended DeVilbis High School. He graduated from the University of Toledo and pursued a career in pharmaceutical sales. He was also a Korean War Veteran from 1952 to 1954.
Don is survived by his wife Della Riley, her three children, Frank (Greta), Tami (John), and Jim, four grandchildren, Jason (Nicci), CJ (Tiffany), Brittni, and Brando, and three great-grandchildren, Jenna, Kaylee and Waylan.
Don was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Riley and brother, Norman Riley. A devoted father to his three sons, Timothy, Thomas (Karen), and Todd (Eileen), three grandchildren, Matthew (Stacey), Andrew (Lizzie), and Brooke (John), and six great-grandchildren, Finn, Ella, Isaac, Lilly, Maggie, and Benjamin; siblings, Richard (Penny) Riley, Rosemary Schwamberger, Betty (Dennis) Michalak and Carol (Tom) Osinski.
Don’s kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten. A Memorial Service will be held at the Heritage Church of God, 3520 Strayer Road, Maumee, Ohio, on May 10th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Flowers may be sent to the church.
