Dolores E. Shoup

Dolores E. Shoup, 65, of Toledo, OH, passed away on July 11, 2026, at St. Anne's Mercy Hospital. Born on April 25, 1961, in Forrest City, AR, she was the cherished daughter of Vernon and Dolores (Sullivan) Kass.

Dolores delighted in gaming and attending music concerts, often expressing her love for both. Her passion for gardening was evident, but above all, she treasured her moments with family.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Boyde Lee Shoup, son Jason Helton, sisters Linda and Verna Kass, and brother-in-law John Osten, she leaves behind a loving family. Dolores is survived by her daughter, Brittany (Andy) Smith; siblings Michael Kass, Kathy Osten, Robert (Mikki) Kass, Elizabeth (Paul) Zawodny, Susan (Alan) Nelson, and Jim (Robin) Kass; step-son Dana Shoup; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the same location.
