Dib Joseph Habbouche, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, teacher, friend, and much more. Dib Joseph Habbouche, age 81, of Ablah, Bekaa Valley, Lebanon, died on Friday, November 29, 2024.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his loving wife of almost 50 years, Souad Ghorra. Dib and Souad wedded on July 6, 1975, and had five children. Dib, his wife, and only three of their children were able to move to the United States in December of 2000, to help provide for their family and give the best life he can.
Dib’s loving children are, his son, Samer Habbouche and his family; daughter, Samar Habbouche and her family; son, Elias Habbouche; daughter, Lara Habbouche and her family; son, Georges Habbouche and his family. Dib also leaves behind many siblings and their families across the United States of America, and Lebanon.
Dib was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Yvonne (Semaan) Habbouche; and his younger brothers, Adel and Feris Habbouche.
Dib will always be remembered for his sense of humor, generosity, hard work, sacrifices, and much more. We will always imagine hearing him say “Yo.” We couldn’t have asked for a better father, grandparent, sibling, friend and teacher. Dib’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him and loved him.
Family and friends may visit at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 West Laskey Road, Toledo, Ohio 43623, on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 10:00 am, at the funeral home. Following the service, Dib will be laid to rest at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
