Diane Stowers, a beloved nurse, devoted wife, caring mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on July 24, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, she lived a life marked by compassion and dedication, both in her professional and personal endeavors.
As a nurse, Diane embodied the essence of caring, offering her skills, knowledge, and kindness to those in need. Her commitment to her vocation not only touched countless lives but also inspired many who had the privilege to work alongside her.
Diane had a myriad of interests that brought joy and fulfillment to her life. She was an avid gardener, spending countless hours nurturing her plants and enjoying the tranquility of being outdoors. Her love for animals and horses was evident through her gentle interactions and her enthusiasm for nature. In her leisure time, Diane embraced her creative side through needlepoint, knitting, and sewing, creating beautiful pieces that will be treasured by her family and friends. Her curiosity about the cosmos led her to watch science shows, where she found inspiration and wonder in the mysteries of space.
Surviving Diane are her loving husband who married March 17, 1979, Paul Stowers; her children Ron (Aubrey) Stowers and Beth Stowers; and her grandchildren Kylie, Mackenzie, Grayson, Evan, and Amelia, all of whom were lights in her life. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews who will remember her warmth and kindness.
Diane is greatly missed by her family and friends, who will forever hold her memory dear. She joins her parents, Charles and Evelyn Rhegness; her step-son, Nathan Stowers; her adopted daughter, Faith Ontiveros; and her brother, Charles Rhegness Jr., in eternal peace.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers friends may donate in Diane's memory to a charity of their choosing. The legacy of Diane Stowers is one of love, compassion, and dedication, a true testament to a life well-lived. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she left behind.
