Diane Dolatoski, born Langdeau on June 10, 1946, in Wyandotte, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home in Maumee, Ohio on July 1, 2025. She was a woman of many talents and passions, known for her creative spirit and love of life. Diane's accomplishments were a testament to her vibrant personality; she was very creative and eccentric, with a love for sewing—crafting clothing and curtains that reflected her unique style. Diane had a talent for fashion as she would wear very unique and unconventional items which made her very classy and special in her own way. She was never interested in fashion trends and always would piece together the most unusual fashion items for a look that was all her own.
Her artistic abilities extended to macramé, and she had a profound appreciation for design and greenery, often reflected in home with enriched surroundings. Diane's true best friend was her husband, Chester. They did everything together and her favorite place to be was with him. A true traveler at heart, Diane and her husband explored over 70 countries, immersing themselves in different cultures and experiences. Cooking was another of her many joys, and she delighted in sharing her culinary skills with family and friends.
Diane was a proud member of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe, embracing her heritage and community. She also played the piano, often filling her home with music that created warm and loving memories. She had a great love for animals; and fondly remembered her companionship with her beloved cat, Buddy.
She is survived by her devoted husband Chester Dolatoski; daughters, Tammy "Larry" Trombley and Wendy Madrzykowski, and grandchildren Richard "Kylie" Cicco, Alexander "Michelle" Trombley, Amber "Joshua" Heldwein, Erik Trombley, and Jaymee Rudd. Additionally, she cherished her great-grandchildren, Daelyn Rudd, Vivian Trombley, Elijah, Everly, and Eden Cicco. Diane is also survived by her sisters, Connie Tuffile and Carole Langdeau. Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Conrad and Ida Mae and her brother, Paul Langdeau.
A graveside service will be held in her honor on July 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Highland Memorial Gardens in Waterville, Ohio.
