Delores E. Warren, 88, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo. She was born on April 20, 1937, in Sault Ste Marie, Canada, to Pierre and Jean V. (Diamintini) Gattoni.
Delores was known for her love and dedication to her family, especially her daughters, with whom she cherished spending time, often sharing playful banter. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she reveled in being part of their lives. Delores had many interests, including reading, knitting, drawing, and cooking, with a particular passion for Italian cuisine. She enjoyed simple pleasures such as Coca Cola, black coffee, and ice cream accompanied by apple or cherry pies and Lays Potato Chips.
A fan of television, Delores had a fondness for the show *M*A*S*H* and was known to call her cable provider if an episode was not airing. Her adventurous spirit shone through her memorable travels, particularly her trip to Israel, which allowed her to walk in the footsteps of Jesus.
Delores will be remembered not only for her quick wit and sarcasm but also for her warm, inviting smile that brightened the lives of those around her.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Ramos (William) and Laurel “Lori” Purney; five grandchildren, Elisa, David (Kari), Keira (Andrew), Joshua (Morgan), and Taylor Ramos; and five great-grandchildren, Jocelyn, Cruz, Miah, Parker, and Grayson. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert E. Warren; her son, Peter L. Purney; and her sister, Marilyn Gattoni-Gonzalez.
Family and friends are invited to gather and remember Delores at the Newcomer Funeral Home (SW Chapel), located at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A memorial service will follow the visitation at 12 Noon.
