Debra Renee Farbrother, fondly known as "Deb," passed away on January 30, 2026, in Cleveland, Ohio, surrounded by the love she so generously gave throughout her life. Born on October 6, 1967, in Tennessee, Deb dedicated her life to caring for her family and those around her. She was a devoted wife to Patrick J. Farbrother Sr., with whom she shared an incredible 34 years of marriage, and a loving mother to her children, Dawn, Patrick Jr., and Jasmine.
Deb’s career was marked by her passion and commitment as the Housekeeping Lead for Otterbein Senior Life and through her own business, Honest and Dependable Services. She wasn't just a worker; she was a person whose presence made every workplace feel like home. Her joy of life extended beyond her professional endeavors; she found great happiness in her various hobbies, including riding her husband’s Harley, which she purchased for him for their 28th anniversary, and embarking on DIY home projects.
The memories her loved ones cherish highlight her spirit and dedication. Patrick recalls with warmth the day they married and their unforgettable trip to Florida. Dawn remembers her mother’s sneakiness and love, particularly when Deb orchestrated a surprise 60th birthday party for her father without anyone knowing. These moments reflect Deb's caring nature, her ability to celebrate her family, and her knack for bringing people together.
Her legacy is one of fierce love and a selfless heart. Deb had a remarkable way of making everyone around her feel valued and cherished. A graduate of Lima High School, she possessed an easygoing demeanor, was forgiving, and always prioritized others before herself. Her proudest accomplishments included her family and her business, proving her unwavering work ethic and determination.
Deb's familial ties were strong and filled with love, needing no embellishment to demonstrate their depth. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Patrick, her children Dawn (husband Charles), Patrick Jr. (wife Sue), and Jasmine. The joys of her life extend to her grandchildren, including Emily, Olivia, Kaitlyn, and Nevaeh, who will remember her warmth and affection. Also mourning her loss are her brother Pete Chadwell, her sister Karen Chadwell, brothers-in-law Mike, Chris, and Gerald Farbrother, as well as a host of other extended family and friends, all of whom were touched by her kindness and generosity.
Deb will be honored in a visitation at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Toledo on February 6, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by a funeral service on February 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM, at Newcomer Funeral Home on Laskey Road.
