Deborah A. Gray

Deborah A. Gray, affectionately known as "Debbie," passed away on December 21, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio, the city where she was born on August 23, 1959. With her departure, she leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication, cherished by her family, friends, and the community she served throughout her life.

Deborah proudly dedicated over 25 years of her career to the Toledo Clinic, a testament to her commitment as a hard worker and a deeply caring individual. She was a Registered Nurse, having obtained her associates degree from Owens Community College after completing her education at Whitmer High School, graduating in the class of 1977. Her passion for nursing reflected her generous spirit and her desire to support those around her during their times of need.

Those who knew Deborah often described her as loving, generous, and supportive, traits that endeared her to many. She poured her heart into everything she did, be it her professional endeavors or her personal relationships. Deborah had a particular affection for animals, and her beloved cat, Kevin, was a constant presence in her life, providing companionship and joy.

Deborah is survived by her son, Larry "Bud" Gray, and her sister, Linda (Mike) Jones. She is also remembered lovingly by her fur baby, Kevin, and a host of cousins and extended family. Her work family at the Toledo Clinic will surely miss her incredible dedication and warmth in the workplace.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Rita Gray, whose memory will live on in the hearts of those she influenced so profoundly.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on January 2, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Toledo, located at 4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623.

While her physical presence will be greatly missed, the impact Deborah made on those around her will endure, as her loving spirit continues to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
