David S. Pozniak

David S. Pozniak, age 57, of Holland, OH. passed away unexpectedly April 16, 2026 at home. He was born June 9, 1968 in Toledo to Robert and Phyllis (Shook) Pozniak. David was a former truck driver for FedEx Freight, retiring in 2023. Dave was a lifelong fan of Michigan Wolverines football and was looking forward to cheering on Texas A&M. Dave also enjoyed Nascar and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents and beloved aunt Deloris Shook, Dave was also preceded in death by his son, Jonathan Pozniak and brother, Robert "Bobby" Pozniak. He is survived by his wife, Patricia "Patti" Pozniak; children, Sierra Pozniak, Briona Pozniak and Shelly Wallace; stepchildren, Nicole (John) Habicht, Christopher (Marissa) Mayo, Stephanie (Manny) Durden, Connor Mayo and Alexis Mayo: siblings, Steve Kapela, Anita Briggs and Mark (Kim) Kapela in addition to 6 grandchildren.

A Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Toledo Area Humane Society in Dave's memory.
