David Alan Mowka

David Alan Mowka, age 77, of Toledo, OH passed away October 19, 2026 at Ebeid Hospice Residence. He was born August 17, 1949 in Toledo to Thaddeus and Delphine (Dembowski) Mowka. David was a 1967 graduate of Libbey High School. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. David was employed as a Veteran Service Commission Officer for over 30 years with the Veteran Service Commission. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Notre Dame fan.

In addition to his parents, David was also preceded in death by his son, Scott Alan Mowka; son-in-law, Todd Nowak; brothers-in-law, Jim Keller and David Krall and niece, Lisa Krall. He is survived by his children, Dana Nowak, Jamie Lipkins and Matthew Mowka; sisters, Joanie Krall and Sharon Keller; best friend, Patricia Nopper; nephews, Todd (Kelly) Krall and Jason Stanton a host of grandchildren, best "fur friend," Sandra Marie and many cousins and friends.

A Celebration of David's Life will be held at a later date.
