David Alan Lee, age 80, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on August 24, 2025. Born on May 10, 1945, in Toledo, he dedicated his life to his family and career, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him.

A graduate of DeVilbiss High School, David pursued further education at the University of Toledo. He built a successful career in sales management, demonstrating strong leadership qualities and a commitment to excellence.

David was a man deeply devoted to his family. He cherished the time spent with his wife, Gayle A. (Murray) Lee, his daughters, Michelle (Anthony) Tebary and Jennifer (Joseph) Shamy, and his beloved grandchildren, Greg (Cierra Raitz) Hall, Daniel (Taylor) Hall, Mike (Elizabeth Paulson) Tebary, Madeline Shamy, Mallory Shamy, Chelsie (Daniel) Beggin, great-grandchildren, Avery Hall, Peyton Hall, Elisha Beggin, Josiah Beggin, and Luci Raitz. His family was the center of his world, and he was proud to support and nurture their pursuits.

David had a multitude of interests outside of his professional life. He was known for hosting get-togethers, where friends and family could come together to celebrate life and share a meal. An enthusiast of classic cars, he greatly enjoyed attending the Barrett-Jackson Car Shows and had a particular fondness for cruising and seeking out cars. A passionate firearm enthusiast and an avid card player, David embraced many hobbies that brought joy to his life.

Among his proudest accomplishments was his membership in the Toledo Ft. Industry Lodge 144, where he served as a Mason for over 50 years. Additionally, David was an active member of a Lodge in Florida, embodying the spirit of fraternity and service. He was also a dedicated member of the Samoor Grotto, where he worked tirelessly to raise funds for children in need within the community.

David is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister, Judy Daquano, nieces, Kathy "Kate" (Jesse) Newsom, and Christine Parks, best friend, Shirley Karam, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, who will carry on his legacy of love and dedication. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harmon and Juanita Lee, his brother-in-law, John Daquano, his aunt and uncle, Weldon and Francis Lee, and his best friend, Richard Karam.

The family will welcome guests on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a Funeral Service beginning at 6:00 pm followed by a Masonic Service at 7:00 pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Sylvania Chapel, 3655 King Rd, Toledo. A Celebration of David's Life will be held at a later date.
