David B. King Sr.

David B. King Sr., age 79, of Maumee, Ohio, peacefully passed away on March 10, 2026, at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born on May 21, 1946, to the late Lester and Edna (Bowers) King.

David dedicated 42 years of his life to the Carpenters Union Local 248, where he was known for his hard work and commitment. Outside of his professional life, he enjoyed his passions for fishing, riding motorcycles, and above all, spending cherished moments with his family.

He is survived by his devoted companion, Becky Bihn; his sons, David King Jr. and Todd (Kris) King; and his beloved grandchildren, Victoria (Brett Skaggs) King, Alexandria (Aaron) Chelchowski, Grant (Lexie Scharer) King, and Madison King. He also leaves behind his brother, Jim (Joyce) King; and sisters, Laura (Don) Carr and Cindy (Garry) Boos. David was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanne Lundy.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Newcomer Funeral Home (Southwest Chapel), located at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, to honor and celebrate the life of David B. King Sr.
