David H. Fink

David H. Fink, age 84, of Maumee, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 5, 2026, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Born on January 7, 1942, in Toledo to Robert and Doris (Braithwaite) Fink, David was a proud 1960 graduate of Libbey High School and later served as President of Odland Iron Works, Inc.

David married his high school sweetheart, Sharon Hennessy, and together they shared 46 years of marriage, raising a loving family and creating a lifetime of memories. Following Sharon’s passing, he later married Joan Rollins. In his later years, he was blessed with the companionship of June Glass, whose friendship brought him comfort and happiness.

David had a deep love for fishing and the outdoors. He was happiest on the water or spending time in nature. So much that he spent the last 18 years camping at Paradise Acres. He could be found "supervising" or cruising in his Ohio State golf cart. Known for his kind heart, easy smile, and willingness to lend a helping hand, David never hesitated to help someone in need. He will be remembered for his generosity, quiet strength, and the love he had for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives, Sharon Fink and Joan Fink; his special companion, June Glass; his grandson, Justin Warnes; his stepfather, James Warnes; and his brother-in-law, Charles Butler.

David leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory, including his children, Robin (Steve) Beck, Robert (Dawn) Fink, John (Cheryl) Fink, Daniel (Jerri) Fink; his grandchildren, Jason (Meghan) Beck, Nicholas (Andrea) Beck, Jim Warnes, David (Courtney Clowers) Fink, Kevin (Katie) Fink, Michael (Christina) Fink, Robin Fink; his great-grandchildren, Avery, Owen, Parker, Maddy, Carter, Austin, John, Briggs, and Jackson; his siblings, John (Jo) Fink, Marilyn Butler, and Rick (Ann) Warnes; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, OH.
