David Edward Dunn

David Edward Dunn, born April 8, 1972, in Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on February 7, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was 53.

David moved through life with a presence that was unmistakably his own. He graduated from Archbishop Moeller High School in Cincinnati, Ohio class of 1990, and went on to build a career in office management, he genuinely loved fashion; it was part of the way he expressed his eye, his taste, and his connection to the world around him.

He was a character with strong feelings. David either liked you, loved you, or wanted nothing to do with you. There was no pretense in him. He was known for his witty sense of humor, and he would never hold back his words. That honesty, paired with his spirit, made him memorable to all who knew him.

David loved life with style and appetite. He loved music and fashion, and he delighted in eating at fine dining places and trying new restaurants. He loved to party, to enjoy the moment, and to share good times with others, and had an amazing shoe collection. He also showed remarkable strength through his health problems. David lived to be 53, and in those years he proved himself a true survivor and fighter thru two heart transplants, someone who loved life and fought a fierce battle with courage.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Dunn, and his father, Hubert Dunn.

He leaves behind a circle of family and friendship who will carry his memory forward: his uncles Oliver Moore, Alan Moore and wife Phyllis, Walter Dunn and wife Carol, and Nehemiah Dunn and wife Darlene; his aunts Helen Truss and husband Arthur and Gladys Taylor and husband Delco; his special friend, Michael Davis, and a host of  loving cousins.  May those who loved him find comfort in the force of his memory, the candor of his voice, and the many moments of laughter and life he shared with them.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 29, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Ambassador Condominiums Club House:  3543 Amberacres Dr, Cincinnati, OH 45237. A repass will follow from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the same location.
