Danny L. Weible, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on August 2, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio, at the age of 65. Born on August 22, 1959, in Toledo, Danny was a lifelong resident of the community he cherished.
After graduating from Whitmer High School in the class of 1977, Danny began a career as a machine operator at O.I., where he worked for three years. He later followed his passion into the restaurant industry, where he demonstrated dedication and hard work, rising to the position of supervisor before his retirement.
Danny was known for his easy-going nature, loving spirit, generosity, and unwavering loyalty. He was truly one of a kind, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him. A devoted Ohio State Football fan, Danny also enjoyed watching old baseball games, cheering for both the Cincinnati Reds and the Detroit Tigers. In his younger days, he loved to wrestle, a testament to his spirited personality.
His love extended beyond sports; Danny was a passionate animal lover, who adored his fur babies, Max and Maggie. His commitment to community was exemplified through his nearly 20 years as an auxiliary member at VFW Post 2898.
Danny married his beloved wife, Christa, on October 17, 1997, sharing 27 wonderful years of marriage filled with love and joy. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family, which includes his children, Tricia (Justin), Jeremy, and Brittany, and their cherished grandchildren, Emily, Parker, Landyn, and Saylor. Danny took immense pride in his children and grandchildren, considering them among his proudest accomplishments.
Danny is survived by his loving wife, children, and grandchildren, along with his siblings, Robert, Jerry (Vikki), Shelley (John), and Judy (Paul), as well as his mother-in-law Jenny and brothers-in-law Jeff and Jason (Leigh). He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty Weible, and brothers Okey, Richard, and Terry.
Danny L. Weible will be remembered for his remarkable spirit, kindness, and love for his family and friends. His legacy will continue to shine through the lives he touched and the memories he created.
Visitation will be held on August 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Toledo, located at 4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623. The funeral service is scheduled for August 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM, also at Newcomer Funeral Home, with a concluding service ending at 1:00 PM.
