Danny Lynn Myers

Danny Lynn Myers, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, in Holland, Ohio, at the age of 76. Born on May 16, 1949, in Toledo, Ohio, Danny lived a life rich with laughter, loyalty, and a quirky charm that endeared him to all who knew him.

Danny dedicated many years to his role as a factory worker at Johns Manville, where he spent his days contributing to the community until his retirement in 2020. An Army veteran, Danny served his country with pride and carried the values of duty and camaraderie throughout his life.

Danny was a proud alumnus of Whitmer High School and even attended the University of Toledo, where he nurtured a love for learning that never faded. He was known for his loveably quirky personality and would often be found quietly engaging with the New York Times crossword puzzle, delighting in the challenge it posed. His evenings were often spent watching classic television shows, with favorites such as "The Fugitive" and "What's My Line" bringing him much joy and nostalgia.

He was truly a beacon of loyalty and generosity, especially within his family. Danny was always ready to lend a helping hand to his loved ones during times of need, showcasing a deep commitment to family bonds. His kindness and unwavering support will be remembered and cherished by all who experienced it.

Danny leaves behind his loving brother, Tracy Myers, and devoted sister, Holly Westrup, along with several cherished nephews: Chad, Toby, and Brad Myers. He also held a special place in his heart for his nieces, Nikki Westrup, Amanda Westrup, Alison Koren, Angie Myers, and Carrie Myers, who will forever carry his memory forward.

Danny is reunited with his beloved parents, Lois Myers (née Beard) and Emmett Myers, along with his brothers, Kent and Melvin Myers. Although he is no longer with us, Danny's spirit and warmth will continue to live on in the hearts of his family.

A visitation will be held to honor Danny's memory at Newcomer Funeral Home in Northwest Toledo on December 4, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, followed by a burial service at Toledo Memorial Park at 12:30 PM. His family invites all who loved him to join them in celebrating the remarkable life of Danny Lynn Myers.
