Daniel William Goodnuff, Jr.

Daniel William Goodnuff, Jr., age 49, passed away on November 1, 2026, in Toledo, Ohio.

Dan was born in Warren, Michigan, in 1977. After high school, he began a career in carpentry that spanned nearly 30 years. He enjoyed pointing out the places he had worked on around town. A lifelong fan of the Detroit Tigers and Lions, Dan was also an expert on the DC Comics Universe and never missed an opportunity to share Batman facts with his sister.

An incredible artist, Dan could freehand draw just about anything. He was also known for his great sense of humor and his spot-on Chris Farley impressions. He will be remembered with so much love and laughter.

Dan is survived by his daughter, Caylin Goodnuff; his father, Daniel (Carol) Goodnuff, Sr.; his sisters, Kelly Goodnuff and Tracey (Curtis) Dettmer; and his extended family and many dear friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Goodnuff (nee Rivers).

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Distillery located at 4311 Heatherdowns Blvd Toledo, Ohio 43614.
