Cynthia Ann Hauff

Cynthia Ann Hauff, affectionately known as Cindy, passed away on August 5, 2026, in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on May 21, 1957, in Lorain OH. She grew up in Vermilion OH. Cindy was amazing. Everyone who knew Cindy knew she had a compassionate and caring heart. She loved very deeply, she was loyal, she was the oldest of 4 siblings and took that roll to heart...always was there for all her siblings and other family and friends. She really was the best sister anyone could have. After the passing of our parents she became the matriarch of the family and very proud to do so.

Cindy never met a cat she didn't like, even if they were not that happy to see her. With her love of cats, Her and Keith have been able to take many in throughout her life and the ones they couldn't take in. Keith and Cindy did their best to find them loving homes. Cindy had comfort in knowing Keith will take care of all her loving animals. Cindy and Keith were a great match for each other. They had loads of interest together, motorcycles, travel, family love, respect for each other to allow each other to pursue their own interest as well as all the things they love to do with each other. One of the many things she loved about him. 

When Keith and Cindy got together, she came to adore the Mulford family. She loved the holiday sing alongs, the closenes that all share. She was known as a very creative, smart indiviual, she loved to learn, read an listen to great music. She even had a poem published at one time. Over the years she belong to alot of groups, AFF Advertising group, Girls who Print, just a couple of her favorites. Everyone she met in the groups was inspiring to her and she enjoyed very much. She spent most of her career working in Marketing for the HOT Graphics & EMI Companies for the past 43 years. She was very grateful to the Shapiro Family not just for giving her start in marketing, but for so many other reasons...proud to considered them family. She has always been an inspiration and guiding light to her sister, Susan. Cindy really lived, she accomplished alot in her life time. Let us all strive to have a life so lived.

Cindy is survived by her beloved husband, Keith Mulford; she also leaves behind her brother Jeff and wife Annie Hauff, sister Susan Hauff; niece Danielle Hauff. Plus her long time friend Cindy Cordell. We all will carry forward memories of meaningful times spent together. She will be missed intensely.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Richard and Hazel Hauff {nee Policy); her brother, Tom "Thor" Hauff; and her niece, Vada Hauff. her loving Grandparents, Eldon and Dorothy Policy, Albert and Ruth Hauff. Though they have gone before her, Cindy’s memories of them remained an enduring source of strength and inspiration throughout her life. We all would like to believe that they were all there with opening arms to greet her.

 Cindy’s legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her family, friends, and all whose paths she crossed remember her for her humility, warmth, and unwavering integrity.
