Correen "Cori" M. Wieczorek

Correen M. "Cori" Wieczorek, age 45, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully April 27, 2025 at Regency Hospital of Toledo, surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 24, 1979 in Toledo to Lawrence and Laurene (Wulf) Wieczorek. Cori lost her 13.5 year courageous battle with Stevens - Johnson Syndrome. She has always been the most caring, loving and faith filled inspiration to us all. She had the strength to move mountains coming into this world at 2 lbs. Cori was blessed to have the love of her life, Kevin with whom she shared many loving memories and lazy Sundays dancing to their favorite songs. She enjoyed art, designing flower arrangements and gardening. Cori was an avid Detroit Lions and The Ohio State Buckeye fan. She inspired so many people and will be greatly missed.

Cori was also preceded in death by her father, Larry Wieczorek; grandparents, Edward and Rose Marie Wulf and Anthony and Anne Wieczorek and favorite uncle, Mike Wulf. She is survived by her mother, Lori Wieczorek; brother, Anthony Wieczorek; sister, Casey (Scott) Feeney; fiance, Kevin Terry; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive guests Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 1:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). The Funeral Mass will be held Monday, May 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church, 4201 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo.

Memorial contributions may be made to Stevens-Johnson Foundation or the Kellogg Eye Institute Cornea in Cori's memory.
