Connie Hrebic

Connie Hrebic, age 76, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, at St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 4, 1949, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Connie lived a life rich in connection and warmth.

She dedicated over 30 years of her career to Frisch’s Big Boy on Summit Street in Toledo, where she built lasting friendships and cherished memories. Connie's passion for life was evident in her love for camping at Sunnys Campground, where she enjoyed the company of family and friends. She found joy in dancing, fishing with her grandchildren, and engaging in card games, bingo and bunko, as well as exploring online games.

Known for her infectious laugh and talent for storytelling, Connie brought joy and laughter into the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Connie is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Richard Hrebic Jr.; her granddaughter Jayden Hrebic; and her sister Lina Rodriguez. She is survived by her sons, Richard “Rick” Hrebic III, Jason (Tami) Hrebic, and Chad (Melinda) Hrebic; her grandchildren, Rick IV, Justin, Gavin, and Xander Hrebic; as well as her siblings, Izzy (Tammy) Castillo, Joey (Lupe) Castillo and Maria Zapata.

In honor of Connie’s wishes, services will be private. Her legacy of love and laughter will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.
