Colleen Ann Kenyon

Colleen Ann Kenyon, age 59, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2026. She was born on January 21, 1967, to the late Isadore and Jacqueline McCarty.

Colleen attended Mason Consolidated Schools in Erie, Michigan, where she shared her musical and artistic talents playing the clarinet in the school band and performing in the flag corps. She was a 1985 graduate.

Colleen spent most of her life working in the restaurant industry, where her warmth and hospitable spirit shone brightly. Known for her incredible talent in the kitchen, her signature mac n' cheese and mouth-watering beef stew were always family favorites. More than her cooking, Colleen had a rare gift for making everyone feel welcomed, cherished, and like a true part of the family. Simply beautiful inside and out, she found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, friends, and endlessly spoiling her beloved grand dogs.

She is survived by her husband, David Kenyon; her devoted daughters, Melanie (David) Nicely and Heather Howard; Sean Howard; stepchildren, Cody and Brent Kenyon; and her precious grand dogs, Twizzler, Tenko, and Ruby, who brought her immense happiness.

In addition to her parents, Colleen was

preceded in death by her brothers, Dennis McCarty and Scott McCarty.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo, OH 43623, to share memories and celebrate Colleen's life.
