Cintron Durell McCadney

Cintron Durell McCadney, age 66, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. He was born on September 21, 1959, in Lauderdale County, Tennessee.

Affectionately known as “Rell,” Cintron was a talented singer and gifted cook who found joy in preparing meals for his loved ones. He cherished laughter, family gatherings, and spending time surrounded by his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vern McCadney and Mary Parr, and his brother, Shuron McCadney.

Cintron leaves to cherish his memory his children: Jaye McCadney; Jaquell McCadney-Waxler (David); Taylor McCadney (Brittney); and Amber McCadney.

He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren: Te’Andra Guzman, Jaye’Lan McCadney, Jayemariyah McCadney, Roemello McCadney, Essence McCadney, Bur’Lynn McCadney, Ryker McCadney, Avonni McCadney, Jonaiyshia McCadney, Demi Waxler, David Waxler, Elowyn McCadney, and Myles McCadney; and his great-grandson, Dashad Guzman.

He is further survived by his brothers, Ricky McCadney and Gary McCadney; his sisters, LaShawn McCadney and Carmen Shavers; and many other relatives and friends who will forever love and miss him.

A memorial service will be held at noon on Friday, September 4, 2026, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions on Heatherdowns. The service will be officiated by his sister, LaShawn McCadney.

Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the conclusion of the memorial service at Newcomer.

The Repass will be hosted at Precious Blood Church, 5253 Bennett Rd, Toledo, OH 43612, immediately following services.
