Chris "Juice" Rupley, 71, of Toledo, passed away unexpectedly September 11, 2026. He was born in February, 1955 to Robert and Beverly (Owen) Rupley, who preceded him in death. Chris graduated from Start High School in 1973, and immediately began his career as a welder at Jeep. He retired in 2003, later contributing his talents to Hobby Stop West until they closed. He was currently a porter for Charlie's Dodge.
Chris had an adventurous spirit. A passionate bowler, Chris spent many joyful hours at Miracle Lanes, Jugs, and Rossford Lanes. He achieved a 300 game in 1991. He was a former member of the Centurions Motorcycle Club. In 1991, he earned his helicopter pilot's license. Chris enjoyed road trip vacations, built and flew model planes and loved competing at RC model boating races with the International Model Power Boat Association, an organization he served as President for six years.
Chris leaves behind his beloved wife, Lynne (Miller) Rupley, with whom he shared nearly 42 wonderful years of love, laughter, and cherished memories; daughters, Megan (Kyle) Merry and Kelsey (Travis) Focht; sisters, Cindy Beadle and Sue (Mike) Brown; sisters-in-law, Denise Pitzen and Christine (Robert) Coehrs, and mother-in-law, Sue Miller. He will also be missed by his many grand pets, two nieces, and three nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Jim Miller, and brother-in-law Guy Pitzen.
The family will welcome visitors on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Newcomer - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd.
In his memory, contributions can be made to the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge.
