Christopher Allen Bourn II, fondly known to his friends and family as "Brisco" or "Sco," left this world on July 6, 2025, at the tender age of 31, in his beloved hometown of Toledo, Ohio. His life, while far too brief, was filled with moments of love, laughter, and dedication that will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege to know him.
Born on April 24, 1994, Chris grew up surrounded by the rich culture and close-knit community of Toledo. He was a proud graduate of Woodward High School, class of 2012, and pursued higher education at Owens Community College. His career at Adient Northwood exemplified his industrious spirit as he played an integral role in making parts for Jeep, showcasing both his dedication and skill in his work.
Chris had a passion for sports, particularly basketball, and often spent hours honing his skills at the gym. He was also an enthusiastic Philadelphia Eagles fan, proudly cheering for his team with unwavering support. But above all, Chris's greatest joy came from his children. He adored his sons—Camryn, Chase, Christopher III, and Cayce—with all his heart. The love he had for them was palpable and will remain a guiding light in their lives as they grow.
Despite his cool and laid-back demeanor, Chris had a big heart. He was a great brother, always there for his siblings—D'Aisa, Thresa, Carrie, Andrea, Latyia, Day'shawn, Nas, and Conner. He loved to dress well, always exuding a sense of style that matched his personality. He was the kind of person who made friends easily and brought light to any room he entered and was a true ladies man.
Chris's absence is deeply felt by his family and friends, including his devoted mother, Latoneya McClain, and her husband, Terrell, along with his beloved grandmother, Sara Bourn. He leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will continue to resonate through his extended family, including his cherished aunt Kimora Knight and uncle Tyron McCulley Sr., as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives along with his best friends P'Air Jones, Antwan Jones, Cornelius Nelson and Damon Mays.
Chris is preceded in death by his father, Christopher Bourn Sr., and his grandmother, Ginnette McClain and grandfather, Allen McCulley; as well as his cousin, Deshaun Lee. Their memories and love will live on in the hearts of those left behind.
The community is invited to celebrate Chris's life during a visitation at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Sylvania, in Toledo on July 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held the following day, July 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by his burial at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
In the hearts of all who knew him, Chris will be remembered as a loving father, a devoted brother, and a loyal friend. His spirit will continue to inspire those who carry on his legacy, reminding us of the profound impact he made in the lives of so many. Rest peacefully, dear Chris; you will be missed but never forgotten.
