Cheryl Kuhlman, a beloved daughter, sister, and mother, passed away on November 13, 2025, in Maumee, Ohio. Born on May 10, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio, she brought joy and positivity to everyone she encountered throughout her life. Cheryl’s smile was infectious; she beamed with warmth and kindness, illuminating the hearts of those around her.

Cheryl's professional journey was as diverse as the spirit she embodied. She worked diligently as a pharmacy technician, inspired young minds as a preschool teacher, and shared her vibrant personality as a salesperson for Montgomery Ward, among various other endeavors. Her commitment to others was evident not only in her career choices but in the way she lived her life—always supporting her community, especially those who served her country. Cheryl was a proud patriot and a steadfast advocate for veterans, showcasing her deep respect and love for the nation she cherished.

Her educational journey began at Bowsher High School, where she graduated in 1970. Following her high school years, she pursued further knowledge and obtained her associate degree from the University of Toledo, always eager to learn and grow.

Cheryl was more than just her careers and education; she was a beautiful soul brimming with artistry and creativity. An enthusiastic creator, she delved into crafts of all kinds, expressing herself through paintings and an ever-growing collection of journals filled with her poetic reflections. Music resonated deeply within her heart; her love for singing found expression in her church choir, which traveled overseas during her younger years. This passion for music was not just a hobby; it was integral to her identity.

Above all, Cheryl was a loving mother to her daughter, Kathryn Brown, and treasured the bond they shared. She leaves behind Kathryn and her husband Alan, along with her brother Kenneth Kuhlman and his wife Diane, her sister Karen Hinkson and her husband Gary, her sister Beth Kuhlman, and a host of other loving extended family members.

Cheryl’s life was undoubtedly marked by love and compassion. She never met a stranger; her eagerness to connect made those around her feel special and valued. She welcomed all with open arms, seeing the good in everyone, and her energy and exuberance filled every room she entered.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her precious infant daughter, Sarah Gorny, and her beloved parents, Ralph and Lois Kuhlman. Their memories will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, reminding them of the enduring love and light that Cheryl brought into the world.

Cheryl Kuhlman will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit, now free, will continue to inspire those she loved to embrace life with the same positivity and creativity that she exemplified every day. May her memory be a blessing to all.

Per Cheryl's wishes, she will be having her services private.
