Charles L. Marble

Charles L. Marble, affectionately known to many as "House," passed away on August 7, 2026, in his hometown of Toledo, Ohio, at the age of 58. Born on February 18, 1968, in Toledo, Charles lived his entire life in the community that shaped him and to which he was deeply committed.

Charles attended Bowsher High School, where his dedication and spirit found expression not only in the classroom but also on the ice as a member of the hockey team. He graduated in 1986 and carried with him the lessons of teamwork and perseverance learned during those formative years.

Professionally, Charles established himself as a truck driver in Ohio. Through his work, he became known for his reliability, professionalism, and commitment to his responsibilities. His career allowed him to connect with countless people across the region, all of whom recognized in Charles a quiet strength and a steadfast work ethic.

Charles was described as a quiet, easygoing individual whose loyalty to his friends never wavered. He valued personal relationships and was known among those close to him for his unfailing support and dedication. His approachable nature and steady demeanor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his son, Nicholas Marble, and daughter-in-law, Kim Marble, who mourn his passing and honor his legacy. Charles is also survived by Sylvia Gendaszek, his step-father John Howard, and his brothers, Thomas Wallace and James D. Marble, each of whom held a distinct and cherished place in his life. He was predeceased by his father, and his mother, Judith Howard and James Marble, whose influence and love were integral throughout his years.

Charles L. Marble’s life was marked by loyalty, quiet dignity, and devotion to family and friends. He will be remembered with deep respect and affection, and his presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
