Charles Fredrick Brown, known affectionately as "Chuck," was born on November 15, 1961, in Toledo, Ohio. He passed away on July 19, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and laughter.
Chuck dedicated 17 years of his life to the Calphalon company, where he worked as a machinist. His contributions at work were marked by his quick wit and sense of humor, but it was his warm heart that truly defined him. Chuck was known for being generous, loving, and funny. To know him was indeed to love him.
He received his education at Woodward High School, shaping him into the amiable and skilled person many came to cherish. Chuck had a zest for life, enjoying hobbies such as fishing and playing bingo. He was a huge fan of the Cleveland Browns and often shared his passion for the team with others.
Chuck embraced family life wholeheartedly, raising four bonus children as if they were his own, alongside a host of grandchildren who brought him joy. His proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly his family, which he cherished deeply.
He is survived by his siblings, Alan (Kathryn) Brown, John (Cherie) Brown, and Susan (Jarud) Rhea, as well as an extended family and friends who will remember him dearly. Charles was preceded in death by his wife Michele Brown, father, Charles F. Brown, and his mother, Marjorie D. Davenport.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, as we celebrate a life well-lived and a spirit that brought brightness to the world.
