Chad R. Smith

Chad Smith, age 44, of Temperance, MI, passed away on June 16, 2025. He was born on January 20, 1981, in Toledo, OH, to Larry R. and Mary H. (Stachowiak) Smith.

Chad dedicated many years to his role at Chase Bank, as well as various positions in customer service, always bringing his passion for helping others to his work. He had a profound love for reading and possessed a natural talent for writing. An avid animal lover, Chad found joy in the companionship of his beloved pets.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Smith; his former partner, Darrel Walentowski; and his cherished niece and nephew, Summer and Brandon Murry. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry R. Smith, and his sister, Fae Kaminski (Smith). Family services will be private, as we remember and honor the life of Chad, who touched the hearts of many.
