Cecil Clayton Christian

Cecil Christian, age 46 passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on September 25th, 2025.

Cecil was an avid sports fan. He could be found cheering on his teams, The Ohio State Buckeyes, Dallas Cowboys and the L.A. Lakers. He loved these teams so much that even named some of his pets after some of the Lakers players.

Cecil leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mom Patricia Hunt (Christian); Stepmom Connie Frye; his sisters Hope Buschmann and Betsy Frye; brother Casey Frye; Aunts McNessa Bowles, Wendy Draime and Betty Holman; Uncle Damon Christian; many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Spartacus.

He was preceded in death by his dad Lemuel (Richard) Frye; Step dad Mark Hunt; and grandparents Cecil & Della Christian and Joan & Harley Frye.

Those who knew Cecil will remember him by his love for family, his pets and someone who loved life. Though his time here was far too short, he will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 2:00-6:00pm, at Spencer Township Neighborhood Center located at 330 Oak Terrace Blvd., Holland, OH, 43528.
