Carol J. Warner

Carol J. Warner, age 85, of Temperance, MI, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo with loving family by her side. She was born on February 13, 1938 to Lester and Rhea Cluff in Toledo, Ohio. Carol graduated in 1956 from DeVilbiss High School. She then met and married the love of her life, Rodney Lynn Warner on February 14, 1959 and were married for 60 years when he passed. Carol was an avid bowler, enjoyed sewing, quilting, machine embroidery and camping. She also liked feeding the birds, bird watching, watching QVC and doing puzzles of different sorts. Carol's quick wit, and caring nature will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney; son, Gregory Warner; and brother, James Cluff. Left to cherish Carol's memory are her daughters, Lisa (Brian T.) Rogers and Pam (Matt) Jaegle; grandchildren, Andrea (Todd) Bowen, Nathan (Sara) Warner, Meredith (Austin Rehberg) Rogers, Austin Rogers, Avery (Cody) Billings, and Abbey Jaegle; great-grandchildren, Gregory, Gordon, Jesse, Summer, Winsley, Jett, Paisley and one on the way; and many dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
