Carol Rose Stachowiak

Carol Rose Stachowiak, 88, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026.

She was born on September 6, 1937, to Anthony and Sophie Zaborowski. She married her husband Ronald Stachowiak on August 11, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio. Together they raised their family of three.

Carol loved to dabble in many crafts including ceramics, jewelry making, knitting and baking. She and her sister loved working together at their ceramic shop. She especially loved cooking and baking for all who knew her - you would not leave her house hungry. Carol's polish coffee cakes were treasured by all, and she passed this recipe on to her sons, who now carry on this cherished family tradition.

She will be remembered for her kindness, warmth, love and loyalty. Known for her quick wit and feisty attitude, Carol brought laughter and strength to those who knew her. She touched the lives of many.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald Stachowiak and her daughter Kathleen Stachowiak. Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Barbara Riddle; her two sons, Bryan (Maria) Stachowiak and Ron Stachowiak; 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. What a beautiful family she created.

Carol's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
