Carl G. Schermbeck, Jr.

Carl “Kuntry” G. Schermbeck Jr., age 44, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday March 14, 2026, at home. Born on January 6th, 1982, Carl was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be remembered for his style as a sneaker head, his love of making and listening to music, and his strength and stature. Carl worked as a bouncer throughout Toledo over the years and was respected by all who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Nancy Schermbeck and his sisters; Elyse Schermbeck and Carrie (Adam) Bishop and his brother Nicholas Schermbeck, as well as a host of  nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl G. Schermbeck Sr.

His family will be holding a celebration of life April 19, 2026, at Walbridge Park Community Building located at 2761 Broadway St. Toledo, OH 43609 from 12pm-6pm for anyone who would like to celebrate him.
