Brenda Lee Unisko, 49, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on September 16th 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Brenda Lee, born on January 17th of 1974 to Carl and Patti Fields in Toledo, immediately brought joy and blessings into the world. Brenda went on to graduate from Woodward High School in 1992 amongst her peers. After graduating from high school, Brenda went on to the workforce where she was employed by a glass manufacturer known as Guardian.
In 1999, she met Lailai Liufau where the two were inseparable from that point forward. Brenda and Lai were together for over 23 years and had 2 shared children, Kaitlyn and Noah. And two step children, Meki and Kayla. All 4 of them filling her life with love for being a mother.
Brenda was a dedicated mother to all of her children, blood or not, raising them to go on to accomplish great things with strong heads on their shoulders. Jessica (Jay) Lewis was her best friend up until her final days with whom she shared much laughter and love between the two women's families. She took on many of her children's friends and treated them as her own without any judgement. Family came first and was above anything else to Brenda , a value she lived by no matter the circumstances.
The heartbreak left by Brenda's absence is truly devastating and will need a moment of healing for those who loved her dearly. Strong like Bull!
Brenda was predeceased by her father Carl Fields. She is survived by her fiancé Lailai Liufau, mother Patti Fields, sister Crystal Fields-Kos (David Kos), brother Carl Fields (Genevieve Fisher), son Noah Liufau (Valerie Goodrich), daughter Kaitlyn Liufau-Daniels (Jefri Daniels), stepdaughter Kayla Liufau (Brian Cook), step son Meki Liufau (Jessica Hoover), and her two beautiful grandchildren Brandon Karsten and Mai'ala Daniels.
