Barbara Ann Ware, affectionately known as Barb, passed away on April 15, 2026, in Toledo, Ohio. Born on December 24, 1948, in Croswell, Michigan, Barb’s life was a beautiful journey defined by love, generosity, and selflessness.

A dedicated grandmother and great-grandmother, Barb’s generosity knew no bounds. She was always thinking of others, embodying a caring and selfless spirit that touched every life she encountered. Her home was a place of kindness, just like the flowers she loved to plant in her garden and in the gardens of others. Her passion for cooking was legendary; her grandchildren especially adored her sticky rice and chocolate chip cookies, a treat that brought warmth and comfort to them. Her sister, Arlene (Mark) Houston, along with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, carry forward her legacy of love and generosity.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Murchie, and her father and stepmother, Richard and Margaret Wilson.
Barbara leaves behind a world enriched by her presence a world brightened by her smile, her care, and her unwavering devotion to family and friends. In every flower she planted and every meal she lovingly prepared, Barb’s heart shone through. Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
