Listen to Obituary

Ashley Nichole Harris passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, resilience, and an unwavering love for her family. Though her journey in this life was not always easy, those who knew her best will forever remember the brightness of her spirit and the genuine warmth she brought into every room.

To know Ashley was to know someone who lived for the pure joys of life. She thrived in the company of others and disliked nothing more than being alone. She was a natural jokester—silly, vibrant, and always ready to share a laugh. She absolutely loved to sing along and dance playfully. Whether she was sitting over her mom’s house or her bonus mom Terry’s, laughing along with her favorite shows like The Price is Right, Let's Make a Deal, and The Big Bang Theory, or simply being goofy to make someone smile, her goal was always to bring people together and find joy in the moment.

Above all else, Ashley loved her five children and her grandson dearly. While life’s hardships sometimes placed physical distance between them, the love in her heart never wavered, and her thoughts were always with them. She cherished every single moment she was able to spend in their presence, wrapping them in a love that surpassed any earthly circumstance.

In her final chapters, she fought hard to overcome the heavy burdens she carried, holding onto a deep desire to stay here with the people she loved. Though her body grew too tired to keep up with her fighting spirit, the love she possessed remains fully alive in the hearts of her children.

To her children: Please know that love is never finished, even when a life feels cut short. There is no unfinished business in the quiet peace she has now found—only a deep, everlasting pride in who you are, and a wish for you to remember her through laughter, and the moments of pure joy you shared together.

She is now peacefully reunited in heaven with her beloved grandmother Meme, and her dear sister Jairika, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her five beloved children, A’Kiya, Jeno Jr, Cameran, Jayden, and Brooklyn her cherished grandson, Kingston her mother, Christine, her siblings Angela, Jada, JaLinda, and Jamare, her aunts Kelly and Terry, her father’s Gerald, and Jonathan, her ex-husband and friend Jeno Sr, her friend Indigo and a host of family and friends who will miss her deeply but take comfort in knowing she is finally at rest.

Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home, (Southwest Chapel), 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo on Monday, July 13, 2026 from 3:00-8:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at 11:00AM in the funeral home.
