Arnold A. "Arnie" Long

Arnold A. "Arnie" Long, age 88, of Toledo, Ohio, peacefully passed away on September 16, 2025, at the Manor at Perrysburg. Born on June 20, 1937, in Toledo to Asa and Isabel (Spence) Long.

Arnie dedicated many years of his life to the Centre Supermarket as a manager in the produce department, where his commitment and hard work were evident. Following his retirement, he enjoyed a fulfilling life in Florida, taking pride in his role as grounds keeper and ensuring the pool in his retirement community was meticulously maintained.

An avid runner, Arnie also cherished his leisure time engaging in activities such as playing bingo, completing sudoku puzzles, and enjoying rides in the golf cart with his beloved canine companion, Sassy Sue.

Arnie is survived by his children, Wendy, Brad, and Greg Long; his step-son, Jeff Easton; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly and brother, Phil.

A graveside service in honor of Arnie will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Toledo Memorial Park, located at 6382 Monroe St., Sylvania, OH.
