Armon L. Hopkins

Mr. Armon L. Hopkins, a resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 3, 2026, at the age of 39. Born in Toledo on September 11, 1986, Armon was a gentle spirit who loved everyone and was deeply loved by all who knew him.

Armon was a devoted son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, and a loyal friend. Known for his bold yet nurturing spirit, he spent his life taking care of those around him, even while quietly managing his own health conditions. He was the type of person who would give you the clothes off his back and his last dollar if he felt you needed it. Armon touched countless lives, offering comfort and support whenever it was needed. When he wasn’t working, Armon loved to relax, style hair, and express his joy through dancing while listening to his favorite artist, Beyoncé. He adored children and frequently babysat for family and friends. Armon had a rare gift for spreading joy; he was the kind of person you could never stay mad at because he would always find a way to make you laugh.

He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Joe Finn; his grandmother, Carolyn Finn; his great-grandparents, Charles and Ruth Hopkins, Walter and Catherine Martin, and Virginia Finn; and his cousin, Eric Hopkins Jr.

Armon's memory will be forever cherished by his loving mother, Tanya Hopkins; his brothers, Arnold Hopkins, Anthony (Nakeya) Hopkins, Labaron Ferguson, Devin Ferguson, and Giovanni Mathis; his sisters, Camisha Collins and Shoronda Willis; grandparents, Erie Mosley, Anthony (Tony) Finn, and Jerry (Shelia) Hopkins; favorite uncle, Jerry Hopkins; favorite nieces, Arnisha and Artasia Hopkins; and a host of family and friends.

Among the true loves of his life were Trina Finn, Taronda Finn, Tishonda Finn, Rochelle Gillespie, Euraline (Quita) Henry, Eric Hopkins Jr., Thomas Finn, Tracy Finn, Damon Hopkins, Alexander Martin, Natalie Hopkins, and Tracy Hopkins.

His mother, Tanya, extends a very special thanks to Nakeya Hopkins, Alice Hood, Rosa Ferguson, Connie Spearman, and Dawn Finn. Armon’s kindness left an indelible impression on everyone he met.
