A'Rianna Aliciana Silva-Chavez, affectionately known to her family as Rianna or RiRi, was embraced by the world on March 6, 2025, in Detroit, MI. Despite her brief time with us, she made an unforgettable impact with her radiant smile and joyful spirit. She departed this earthly realm far too soon on May 19, 2025, leaving behind loving memories that will forever echo in the hearts of her family.
Rianna was a happy and strong little baby, known for her delightful demeanor. She had a way of touching the lives of those around her with her laughter and cherished moments. Memories shared by her family include her unique love for "puking all over her grandma and great grandma," a testament to the joyful chaos that often accompanies the pure love of an infant. Her special bond with her mother, Esperanza Chavez, was beautifully evident, as only she could successfully burp Rianna after moments of contagious giggles and happy fussiness.
Her personality truly shone during quiet times spent cuddling, where Rianna loved to lay on chests and do little baby push-ups, bringing smiles to everyone nearby. With her inquisitive nature, she aspired to take in the vast world around her, always being nosey and enthusiastically looking at the giant family members surrounding her. Lulling her to sleep with the soothing melody of “You Are My Sunshine” was a treasured ritual, reflecting not just her love for music but also the deep affection showered upon her by her family.
Among her favorite toys was the cherished Carebear gifted to her by her older sister, Aniyanna, which became a symbol of the precious connections she fostered in her short-lived life. Rianna radiated beauty and joy even in the smallest expressions and actions.
She is survived by her devoted mother, Esperanza Chavez, her father, Devin Guyton, and her loving siblings: Aniyanna Guyton, Ahcarmello Guyton, Asesina Guyton, Ahmontae Silva-Chavez, and Aselena Guyton. Her adored grandmother, Soleda Silva, and grandfather, Felix Chavez, along with her great grandmother Alicia "Letha" Silva and Felecidad Humphries and Jorge Chavez, held her close in their hearts. Rianna is also deeply loved by her tias and tios, who enveloped her in love: Tatianna Chavez, Aliciana Chavez, Amour Silva, Angelina Chavez, Juliana Chavez, Bianca Rosaura, Keyshia Johnson, David Silva-Chavez, Victor Rodriquez, Vincente Adkins, Cruz Silva, and Ramiro Silva. Great tias and tios, including Carina Cabrera-Perez, Maricel Rivera, Leticia Mercado, Consuelo Silva, Celia Rush, Melissa Baker, Brenda Ramirez, Theresa Silva, David Silva Jr., Ramiro Silva, Fidel Silva, Rafael Cabrera-Perez, Jose Ramirez, and A.B. Baker, will forever keep her spirit alive.
While her spirit has departed, Rianna has rejoined her beloved great tio Jorge, great grandpa David Silva Sr., tio Antonio "Tony" Silva, baby cousin Alora Rose Silva, and great grandpa Carlos Humphries in eternity. They welcome her with open arms, uniting once more in love.
She will be remembered through the treasured memories and joyful hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. A visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Sylvania, in Toledo, OH, on May 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM.
Rianna's legacy of love and laughter will forever be cherished, as we hold close the sweet memories of a beautiful little girl whose light continues to shine in the hearts of all she touched.
