Antonio D Gilmer

Antonio "Tone" Donte' Gilmer was born August 18, 1975 in Toledo, Ohio to, Virence Gilmer and Charles Smith Sr. . Tony departed this life on August 12, 2023. He attended St. Hedwig Catholic and Central Catholic and later transferred to Waite High School. Tony was very athletic; baseball, football and basketball were his passions. He was a Super fan of the San Francisco 49ers. Tone loved to dance, line dancing was his specialty. Antonio was a loving son, protective brother, dedicated father, grandfather, uncle and loyal friend. He was the type of man that would help anyone, by cutting their grass or just simply holding a conversation with you. Tony lived his life to the fullest, he was a very Stylish, outgoing person. His smile was bright, affectionate and contagious.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Virence Gilmer; father, Charles Smith Sr.; grandmothers, Mattie Gilmer and Roberta Smith; grandfathers, Lawrence Gilmer and Tommie Smith. He leaves behind to mourn his daughters: Kashawnna, Tageona, LaNautica, and DaNautica Gilmer, Key'Lliyah Gilmer ,Tonenyah Gilmer; sons, Tayvon(Myshiona), Antonio Jr., Tywaun Gilmer; stepsons, Damon, Day'Shawn, Day'Vonta Russell; grandchildren, Amaizyn, Mylo, and Magic Gilmer. Very special nephews, Christopher (Brianda) and Antonio Monte' Gilmer; sister, Shalon Gilmer; stepsisters, Patrice, Mia, Quita Smith and Patrece Draper; stepbrothers, Charles Smith jr., Aaron Roberts, Casey McBeth; Life Partner, Tamika Cable; great-niece, Cayden Gilmer; great-nephew, Carmelo Gilmer, who held a special place in Tone's heart; special friends, Pat, Octavius, Keith, Fred, J.P, Darryl, Jeremy and Antonio J; aunts, Donna, Phyllis, Shirley, Barb, Brenda; uncles, Steve, Dave, Lawrence jr, Daniel, Avery and Freddie; special cousins, RoShaun Gilmer, Erik Landry, Vincent Johnson, JaMar Jones, Terry Jones and Annisa McIntoush; and a host of family and friends.
