Antoinette Roberts, a beloved matriarch and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, at the age of 81, in Perrysburg, Ohio.
Born on September 26, 1944, in Toledo, Ohio, Antoinette was the daughter of Louie Lucas and Flora Speaks, who instilled in her a deep appreciation for family. Throughout her life, Antoinette was a beacon of love and laughter, known for her warm spirit and generous heart. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Gene E. Roberts; her son, Glenn L. Roberts; her brothers, Gene Lucas and Steve Garrison; and her sister, Nata Current.
For 26 years, Antoinette dedicated herself to the Maumee City Schools as a bus driver. Antoinette had a profound love for flowers, gardening, and cooking. Her sense of humor was infectious, and her laughter was a gift that she shared freely, lifting the spirits of everyone around her. The family invites all who knew Antoinette to celebrate her life and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Antoinette is survived by her two loving daughters, Shelly A. Milliron (Ray Keil), and Lisa M. Reed (Rick Reed). Her five grandchildren, Britani Kyser (Mike Kyser), Lindsay Geelen (Soren Geelen), Joseph Milliron, Madison Reed, and Logan Reed. Antoinette was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren: Ava, Alaina, and Preston Kyser; Declan and Rylie Geelen; Norah Milliron, and Santino Mancia, each of whom brought her immense happiness.
Antoinette Roberts will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, a devoted friend, and a woman whose laughter and love enriched the lives of all who knew her. She will be forever missed and loved.
Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home, (Southwest Chapel) 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 1:00-4:00 PM.
