Annabelle "Ann" Bryant, 97, of Toledo, passed away on September 7, 2026. She was born November 27, 1928 in West Unity, Ohio to her parents, John and Mildred Miller.
The family moved to Toledo in 1937, where Ann graduated from Harriet Whitney High School. She then worked for several years at the former LaSalle & Koch department store in downtown Toledo as a fashion model and sales clerk. Ann married the love of her life Albert H. Bryant in 1949, and they enjoyed 52 years together in Maumee and South Toledo until his passing in 2002.
Ann was a fierce volleyball competitor into her 40s, playing with the South Toledo YMCA women's travel team - and played tennis into her mid-80's. She enjoyed serving as a Girl Scout leader, gardening, best 2-of-3 Scrabble matches, raising her three children, and cherishing her seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Al and Ann loved providing fun, action-packed, summer reunions for the family with annual cabin rentals at Hocking Hills State Park.
A member of Boulevard Church of Christ, Ann was preceded in death by her younger brother, Dennith "Denny" Miller. Survivors include brother, Reginald "Reg" Miller; son, Jeff Bryant; daughters, Charisse (Bill) Folger and Jan (Marty) Connors; grandchildren, Shane Bryant, Jeff B. (Libby) King, Lucas (Aimee) King, Adrian (Andy) Lumbrezer, Ashley King (Tim Nittle), Dana (Scott) Connors, and Ben (Morgan) Connors.
Services for Ann will be private, she will be laid to rest at Toledo Memorial Park.
