Angela Edwards

Angela Edwards, 62, of Toledo, passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 17, 2026 in Toledo. She was preceded in death by her father, George Edwards, Sr., 2 brothers, George and Jeffrey, and sister, Yvette Edwards.

Angela "Angie" Edwards was born to George Edwards, Sr. and Betty Tisdale-Edwards on April 7th 1964 in Toledo, Ohio. Angela graduated in Toledo from Waite High School in 1983.

Angie was a dedicated Toledo Public Schools Custodian who loved spending her free time doing anything she could with and for her family.

Angie is survived by her loving mother, Betty Edwards, 3 children, Robert Edwards, Jennel Edwards, and Richard "Rick" Witcher, Jr.; her 8 loving grandchildren, Robert Edwards, Jr., Dajohn Edwards, Dion Edwards, Skylar Martin, Salayah Witcher, Kenyon Johnson, Sayvion Witcher, and Kristian Witcher. She also leaves to mourn her memory 3 brothers, Tyrone Edwards, Michael Edwards, Keifer Reid, and 3 sisters, Lisa Crawford, Reva Kelly, and Tracy Edwards; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends and family are invited to honor Angie's life on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service on Tuesday, April 28th at 11:00 a.m. Both visitation and service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, located at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, Ohio.
