Alma Mae Cook-Kujawski

Alma “Mae” Cook-Kujawski, 90, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in South Carolina.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sharyl (Daniel) South, Cynthia (Gary) Ungerer, Dale (Nancy) Miller, David (Debbie) Miller, and Bonnie (Jared Rood) Cook; and her sister, Betty Lee. Besides her children, her greatest gifts were her grandchildren, Melissa, Dale, Rob, Michelle, April, Ryan, Matthew, Lindsay, Ray, Ashley, David, Nicholas and Morgan; as well as her great-grandchildren, Veda, Gavin, Nadia, Samantha, Payton, Olivia, AJ, Aidan, Dylonnah, Grant, Avery, Zander, Brady, Delila, Max, Owen, Theo and Annie; great-great grandchildren, Noelani and Ace.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Bessie Belcher; her brother, Clebert Belcher; and her sister, Ileene Castor.

Mae will be remembered for her love of family and family gatherings, as well as her kindness toward everyone she met.

Her family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Canterfield of Bluffton and Crescent Hospice for their care and compassion.

Mae's visitation will be at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Chapel, located at 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, Ohio 43614 on Monday, June 22, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM with a funeral service at 12:30 pm. A burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please donate in Mae's memory to your local humane society.
