Addie Mae Mangham-Holley passed away on December 17, 2025. She was born December 14, 1935 in Zebulon, Georgia to the late Mr. R.C. Mangham and Mrs. Nannie Parks-Mangham.
At a very young age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. She joined the Mt. Hope Baptist Church in Zebulon, Georgia and began singing in the adult choir at an early age. She moved to Toledo, Ohio in 1959 and joined The Universal Community Church, there she was a member of the choir and was noted for singing, "He's Calling Me". She joined St. James Church of God in Christ in 1971 and was a faithful member. She joined the Senior Choir, and worked diligently in the church as a Bible Instructor, a Sunday School Teacher, and was a member of the missionary board. She also participated in the Outreach Ministry which included Rest Homes, Hospitals, Street Ministry and In-home Ministry. She was coordinator for the Grief Ministry.
She was united in marriage to the Late Dr. John C. Holley in 1963, to this union one son was added, Calvin John Holley “CJ “.
She was founder of the Inspirational Outreach Ministry, Inc. In the late 80's and 90's she traveled in the Southern States proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, many souls were saved, healed and delivered.
During the early years of her ministry, she conducted an Outreach Radio Broadcast, fourteen members of one family were saved through the broadcast. She later became the first black female Gospel Radio Announcer in Toledo. Her career started at WKLR Radio Announcer, WVOI Radio Announcer, WJCM Radio Manager and WJYM Radio in Perrysburg, Ohio. She was licensed by the Federal Communication Commissioner as a Third Class Radio Operator. She was member of the National Gospel Announcers Guild and received two awards from the Stella Gospel Music Awards.
She retired from Lucas County Human Service Department in 1993. She attended the University of Toledo, Stautzenberger Business College, Toledo Medical Educational Center, Basic Videography at Kaleidoscope Video Production. She attended classes from Vision Bible College. Addie became a licensed Evangelist in the Church of God in Christ in 1975. She worked as an Administrative Assistant with Experience Works Employment Service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John C. Holley, sisters, Betty Mangham and Annie Rose Ignont; brother, Johnnie Mangham and parents Mr. & Mrs. R.C. Mangham.
She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Calvin John Holley (CJ ); grandson, Gunner Kalucki-Holley; one brother, Anderson Mangham of Atlanta, Ga., and a host of Godchildren, cousins and friends.
Family and friends will be received at the Win the World Ministries, 3025 Marvin Ave., Toledo, OH on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 10:00-11:00AM. The funeral service will follow visitation at 11:00AM. Interment, Historic Woodlawn Cemetery, Toledo
