Aaron Rashawn Smith

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Aaron Rashawn Smith, age 40, of Toledo, Ohio, who left us on January 7, 2026. Aaron was born in Toledo on July 22, 1985, and he will be remembered fondly by his loving family and friends.

Aaron cherished his time spent with his children, Joshua and Riley, who were central to his life. He also enjoyed the company of his mother, Gale Hunt, his sister, Natasia Hunt, and his beloved nieces and nephews.

Professionally, Aaron had a passion for information technology, where he excelled at solving computer problems. He found joy in online gaming, creating lasting memories with friends in digital adventures.

Family and friends will be received at the Newcomer Funeral Home, (Southwest Chapel) 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 10:00-11:00 AM.  Services will begin at 11:00 AM following visitation.   

His kindness and spirit touched the lives of those who knew him, and he will be greatly missed.
