In Memory Of
Noël Joy DeRose
1977 - 2023

Noël Joy (Cox) DeRose, age 45, of Toledo, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.

Noël was an amazing and unfailingly devoted mother. Her life revolved around her three beloved children, Cameron, Marissa, and Marc. They were her world.

Noël's love of family was apparent in the way she enjoyed organizing and attending family gatherings for all occasions. When she wasn't taking family trips to the zoo, the park, the library, and any number of other fun-filled educational places, she could be found working with her children on various arts, crafts, and other creative projects.

Deeply loyal and passionately protective of those that she loved, Noël was well known for fearlessly speaking her mind, and when desired, presenting a toughness in attitude to some.

Those that truly knew her, knew that, in truth, Noël DeRose was a woman who possessed the largest of hearts with an immense capacity for love and understanding, full of compassion and forgiveness for others.

Noël's generous and kindhearted nature could also be seen in her deeply passionate sense of caring for animals, as she often took in pets in need of saving or rehoming.

That immense capacity for love, compassion, and caring was equally as much a part of who Noël was as her sometimes profound sense of wisdom along with her bright and beautiful smile and the contagious laugh that went along with it. All of this, and more, will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, David DeRose; children, Cameron Schneider, Marissa DeRose, and Marc DeRose; parents, Joy (Mike) Mariea and Thomas (Cheryl) Cousino; grandmother, Mary Wypyhoski; sister, Hope (Earl) Nagley; father-in-law, Mark (Sandy) DeRose; and many other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her dad, Robert Cox, and her mother-in-law, Kim DeRose.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
