Douglas Clayton Rusch, age 81, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on March 17, 2023, at Ebeid Hospice. He was born on November 14, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Clayton and Elizabeth (Ambrose) Rusch.
Douglas was a 1959 graduate of Macomber High School. He continued his education at The University of Toledo, where he received his Master’s in Information Technology. He worked at Champion Spark Plug as a computer specialist for 30 years. Douglas enjoyed dining out and his sports, such as: football, baseball, and NASCAR.
Those left to forever cherish his memory are his siblings, Shirley Parrish and Julian Rouch; nieces and nephews, Kevin Parrish, Michael Parrish, Brian Parrish, Ellen Rouch, Sid Rouch, and Marilyn Vanlieshout.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen (Sullivan) Rusch; sister-in-law, Betty Rouch; and niece, Rhonda Rouch.
Graveside Services will take place on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at 10:00 am, at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, with Julian Rouch officiating.
