In Memory Of
Donald W. "Don" Nash
1930 - 2023
Don was a collector of all things, especially record albums and baseball memorabilia. He was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers. Don enjoyed listening to music, mostly country and Elvis. He and his wife, Delores even made a few trips to Graceland. Don was an avid pool player, even playing 35 games on one holiday! He was known to “stretch the rules” a bit but everyone loved it. Don loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially all of his grandchildren. Don’s smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Nash; brothers, Raymond and Robert Nash; sister, Sandy Blackburn. Left to cherish his memory are his loving children, Melody (Marty) Zanotti, Tracey (Terry) Wilson, Donald “Hotdog” (Lori) Nash, Cindy (Joe Keller, Jr.) Millward and John (Ruth) Nash; 17 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation and Services for Don will be private. Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, Toledo (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
